The love of your life,
Should be Jesus Christ,
And you should be willing to sacrifice everything for Him.
When you make that commitment,
To serve Him forever,
It should never be done lightly or on a whim.
The Lord in turn,
Has given us a sure promise,
That He will never leave us nor forsake us.
All He asks in return,
Is quite simple really,
That we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.
And what assurance do we have,
A valid question indeed,
Why it’s His Word that endures to all generations.
The Rock of Ages,
The Chief Cornerstone,
It’s the rod of iron to rule all nations.
You can be sure my friend,
It will never fail,
For the scripture cannot be broken.
It’s fastened with a nail,
Forever settled in heaven,
It is God’s unwavering token.
So take solace my friend,
Let not your heart be faint,
Put your trust in the Master of your soul.
Never give up,
No matter what happens,
And the Lord will keep you and make you whole.
